  • One of the best places in Germany

In a survey conducted by the German National Tourist Board (GNTB), the city of Tübingen was ranked 34th among the best 100 places to visit in Germany in 2021/2022 by around 15,000 people from all over the world. This puts Tübingen even above Lake Constance, Freiburg, Sylt and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Come and fall in love with Tübingen’s unique small-town style!

We'll help you get acquainted with the region and give you tips and tricks on how to make your holiday even better. We are looking forward to meeting you!

  • Public guided tours of the old town

Don't look at Tübingen's old town all by yourself! The city's tourist office offers guided tours of the historic centre. This way you won't miss any sights, and you can ask lots of questions. Of course, there is no shortage of interesting stories about the city's history as well.

The tours last 1.5 hours. The meeting point is in front of the Tourist Information Office at the Neckar Bridge (Neckarbrücke) and this is also where you can buy tickets. They are held every Saturday at 11.00 a.m. from April to October. The price is 12,- € for adults (10,- € reduced). If you're already proficient in German, you should check out the German tours. They are held all year long and cost 10,- € (7,- €).
