German A2 for beginners with previous knowledge - Welcome!

Do you already speak some German? We'll learn in an effective way! In this course, at the advanced elementary level, we’ll learn how to give and ask for location information, state reasons and conditions, talk about living, life, and working conditions, make phone calls, and write simple messages. We‘ll learn verb kickers, alternating prepositions, indefinite pronouns, the subjunctive II, and review the perfect tense.

Do you already speak some German? This course is for participants with basic knowledge. We’ll learn in an intensive and effective way!
In this course, we’ll cover sports, health and fitness issues, school, education, jobs, celebrations and presents at the advanced elementary level. We‘ll learn how to express interests, opinions, wishes, plans, requests and recommendations. We‘ll use reflexive verbs, verb kickers, verbs with prepositions, and modal verbs in the past tense.

Do you already speak some German? This course is for participants with basic knowledge. We’ll learn in an intensive and effective way!
We’ll learn new vocabulary related to travel, holiday activities, banking, services, and personal matters. By the end of this course, you will be able to talk about preferences, wishes, and dreams; we'll learn how to make suggestions, respond to them, and express our opinions. We‘ll practise the subjunctive II, the perfect and preterite tenses, connecting adverbs, and indirect questions.
With this course you will complete the elementary level.

In this course, we want to speak a lot. In addition, we will learn and review important grammatical structures and practise them both orally and in writing. As homework, there will regularly be exercises for revision.

This course has 8 spots and takes place in person at Vivat Lingua!

This course is part of a project run by the University of Tübingen, and the trainers will receive professional guidance and support throughout the entire period. Anonymous data will be collected for a research study.

In this course, we will review and learn important grammar from level A2. For example:

- Present tense and perfect tense
- Modal verbs (can, must, want, etc.)
- Subordinate clauses (with because, that, etc.) 
- Sentence structure and word order

We write simple and connected texts and practice emails, short stories, descriptions, and expressing opinions.  
We work on improving the structure of the texts.  
We discuss and correct typical mistakes together. The goal is to gain more confidence in grammar and writing.
