We have the right course for you! You can choose individually for each day: Would you like to attend the course in the morning or in the evening? The course takes place twice a day and has the same content.

In this course, we practice vocabulary and grammar for the B2 level and technical language for nursing. We practice practical communication situations and do lots of role-playing.

You already have the ability to communicate with patients, but find it difficult to speak empathetically? In this workshop, you will learn how to speak empathetically with patients. We will show you how to communicate in a friendly and understanding manner and teach you the vocabulary and phrases you need to do so.

The workshop is offered at two language levels:  

Level B2 is for participants who can understand and communicate the main points in communication situations. 

Level C1 is for participants with very advanced German language skills.

“My foot hurts, here at the knee!” In this workshop, we practice important words and phrases for everyday use in nursing and when dealing with patients. The course offers practical exercises and role-plays to improve listening comprehension and respond appropriately to patient statements.  

The aim is to facilitate communication with Swabian patients.

We will show you techniques for resolving conflicts and avoiding misunderstandings. You will learn to remain calm and respond empathetically, even when the situation is tense. Through practical exercises and role-playing, you will practice improving your communication skills in challenging situations. The goal is to strengthen your ability to act professionally and empathetically, even in difficult moments. 

Workshop: “Communication in difficult situations/conflict situations”

Workshop: „Patientenaufnahme“

In this workshop, you will learn how to conduct a successful patient intake. You will practice how to create a trusting atmosphere and ask the right questions to determine the needs of patients. The course includes practical exercises in which you can practice admission interviews. Through role-playing, you will learn to ask important questions and respond to patients' answers. The goal is to improve your patient admission skills and ensure a smooth process.

In this workshop, you will learn how to effectively guide, advise, and explain information to patients and their families. We will show you how to convey complex information in an understandable way and respond to questions. Through practical exercises and role-playing, you will practice mastering various counseling situations and responding appropriately. The goal is to strengthen your guidance and counseling skills in order to improve patient care.

German communication in nursing and medicine B1/B2 and C1

Would you like to feel more confident in the complex communication situations you encounter in your everyday working life as a nurse?

Then you've come to the right place! We practice this with practical role-plays, supplemented by short grammar spots and writing tasks. In addition to strategies for ensuring comprehension, we practice important phrases and relevant colloquial expressions and expand your job-related vocabulary.

Depending on the situation and requirements, language training may begin before the start of the training program and will continue regularly throughout the training period. The aim is to train participants in the language requirements of the training program and prepare them for exams and everyday working life.

Intensive courses

Online via Zoom or in person

Intensive courses can be planned on a full-time or part-time basis. Each day consists of seven training sessions and additional homework. The intensive training enables participants to improve their language skills effectively and quickly.
