This course is for beginners with little or no knowledge of English.

You will learn basic grammar, build vocabulary, and learn to speak in English. By the end of this course, you can introduce yourself, order food and drinks, and understand simple sentences. This is the perfect introduction to English!

Sie lernen die wichtigste grundlegende Grammatik, bauen systematisch Wortschatz auf und legen die Grundlage für die englische Sprache. Am Ende des Kurses können Sie sich vorstellen, Essen und Getränke bestellen und einfache Sätze verstehen. Der perfekte Einstieg in die englische Sprache!

This course is for learners with a little knowledge of English and/or who have completed A1.1 Part 1. You will learn basic grammar, build your vocabulary, and learn to communicate better in English. By the end of the course, you can talk about yourself and your family, your hobbies, and your job.

Sie lernen die wichtigste grundlegende Grammatik, bauen Ihren Wortschatz auf und legen die Grundlage für die englische Sprache. Am Ende des Kurses können Sie über sich und Ihre Familie, Hobbys und Arbeit sprechen, Fragen stellen, kurze Antworten geben und einfache Sätze verstehen und bauen.

You have learnt English before, but it’s a little rusty!  You want to talk to people on holiday but can’t find the right words.  Do you want to speak to people visiting Germany? You already know some English, but you want to improve!

Then this is the course for you!

You can already speak English but sometimes you get the grammar a little mixed up? 

In this class we discuss current topics and focus on using the correct language forms.  We will also work on improving your vocabulary and building your confidence when speaking English.

Would you like to improve your English and be more confident in the language?   In this class, we’ll look at more advanced grammar, improve your vocabulary, and have interesting conversations. This is the perfect class to improve your English-speaking skills.

Your English is good, but you want to take it to the next level?

This lively conversation class provides the opportunity to discuss a rich variety of topics. You will increase your knowledge of specific grammar points and expand your vocabulary.  At the end of course you will feel more confident and secure in your use of English.

This course is for learners who would like to improve their confidence and fluency in everyday communication. We will practise language that can be used in real-life and workplace situations. You will build confidence, expand your vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and increase your accuracy.

Join us at Vivat Lingua for tea, biscuits and great conversation. This conversation class is designed for adults, who want to improve their spoken English in a relaxed and friendly environment. Each session focuses on a different topic, such as travel, culture, current events, hobbies, food, work, or everyday life.

Welcome to Book Talk — a relaxed monthly book club exploring the world through international literature.

Once a month, we meet for 90 minutes to discuss a selected book, share perspectives, and discover different cultures and voices. Along the way, we’ll also look at useful vocabulary and expressions from the text, with explanations whenever helpful.

Whether you love discussing books or simply want to enjoy reading in English, Book Talk invites you to read, learn, and connect.
